Open Air Market in Espinho, Portugal

Espinho, a small coastal town in Aveiro District, near Porto, known for its golden sands and fresh seafood, is also home to one of the largest and oldest open-air markets in the country—the Feira de Espinho. Established in 1894, it has grown into a weekly tradition, taking place every Monday from 7AM till 7PM. Vendors from all over Portugal gather here to offer their goods—rain or shine. They make no exception for the national holidays like Freedom Day (Dia da Liberdade) on April 25th and Assumption of Mary (Assunção de Nossa Senhora) on August 15th.
